Laser Frax au Maroc — Rajeunissement Cutané

Our skin is put through a lot over the course of our lives: the passage of time, sun exposure, as well as hormonal changes, accidents, and childbirth all leave their mark on our bodies. Dark spots become more pronounced over time; stretch marks may appear after childbirth; and scars develop during periods of acne or hyperpigmentation. We then realize that our skin no longer has the appearance and texture it once had.

What is the Frax Laser?

The non-ablative fractional laser (or Frax) can address all of these issues. A key feature of the fractional laser is that the side effects associated with its use are minimal compared to the CO₂ laser, which causes more severe post-treatment effects.

In fact, the laser emits high-intensity light energy and creates numerous micro-channels deep within the dermis while leaving patches of healthy skin intact, which means there is no downtime.

What happens during a session?

Special goggles are provided to protect the eyes.

The practitioner sweeps the non-ablative fractional laser across the skin. Each light pulse is accompanied by a tingling sensation and localized warmth. A chilled air cooling system helps minimize these discomforts, or an anesthetic cream will be provided for added comfort.

A healing and soothing cream is applied at the end of the session.

The session lasts about 30 minutes. The number of sessions generally ranges from 3 to 6, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart (face, fair skin types) or 6 to 8 weeks apart (body, dark skin types).

Each protocol will be established during the mandatory consultation.

What are the results?

Immediately after the laser treatment, the skin will be red, warm, and feel tight, similar to a sunburn. Moderate swelling may develop in the hours that follow and will subside within 24 to 48 hours.

In rare cases, skin peeling may still occur within two weeks.
