What is Dermapen microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as microneedle mesotherapy, is a non-invasive rejuvenation technique that involves neither lasers nor surgery. The Dermapen, a medical-grade precision pen equipped with a sterile, single-use tip, automatically and precisely pricks the skin to a depth adjusted according to the treatment area and specific need.
These micro-perforations trigger the natural healing process: production of new collagen and elastin, improved microcirculation, and deep penetration of the active ingredients applied during the treatment. The principle is similar to that of fractional laser treatment, but without the need for recovery time.

What happens during a microneedling session?
The session lasts about 30 minutes. A free preliminary evaluation checks for any contraindications and determines the treatment plan: needle depth, combination of treatments, and number of sessions.
Cleansing and Exfoliation
The area to be treated is cleansed and then gently exfoliated to prepare the skin.
Light exfoliation
A gentle exfoliation smooths the skin's surface and helps active ingredients penetrate the skin.
Custom Cocktail
A blend of vitamins and hyaluronic acid, selected based on your needs and skin type, is applied.
Dermapen Treatment
The practitioner glides the microneedling pen over the area at a depth adjusted according to the treatment indication. A tingling sensation is normal.
Mask
A hyaluronic acid or collagen mask soothes the skin and wraps up the treatment.
No prolonged downtime: slight redness may persist for a few hours. The initial results—a more radiant complexion, an even skin tone, and tighter pores—are visible after the first session and continue to improve over the course of several weeks as new collagen is produced. Plan on 3 to 5 sessions spaced 15 days apart, followed by a maintenance session every 3 to 6 months. For acne scars, 4 to 8 sessions are often necessary.
