Medical rhinoplasty (also known as “non-surgical rhinoplasty” or “rhinomodeling”) is a technique for reshaping the nose using hyaluronic acid injections. It allows the shape of the nose to be reshaped without surgery, general anesthesia, or downtime.

Side effects are minor: you may experience slight redness or bruising, which will fade within 3 to 7 days. Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours, do not apply strong pressure to the nose, and avoid facial massages for 2 weeks.

To maintain the results, a touch-up every 12 to 18 months is recommended, often using a lighter volume (maintenance).

Medical rhinoplasty is very safe when performed by an experienced practitioner trained in the vascular anatomy of the nose. Common side effects are mild and temporary:
Serious complications (skin necrosis due to vascular compression, embolism) are extremely rare but require a practitioner trained in safety techniques: slow injection, use of a cannula rather than a needle for high-risk areas, systematic aspiration testing, and knowledge of vascular landmarks.
