What is the Carbon Peel?
The Carbon Peel, also known as the Hollywood Peel or carbon peel, is a non-invasive laser resurfacing treatment. A thin layer of medical-grade carbon is applied to the face; it penetrates the pores and binds to sebum and impurities.
The Hollywood Spectra laser is then applied to the skin. Its energy is absorbed by the carbon particles, which vaporize and release heat to the skin’s surface: the epidermis is exfoliated, the pores are cleansed and tightened, and the dermis is stimulated to produce collagen.
