Schedule, Sessions, and Follow-up
The intimate peel is performed by a practitioner in a private treatment room. After cleansing the area, she applies the peel with a cotton pad in one or more layers; you may feel a sensation of warmth and tingling, after which the product’s action is neutralized with a soothing cream.
The outer layers of the skin peel off over the next few days, revealing clearer, more even-toned skin. The results appear gradually: on average, you’ll need 2 sessions per area, spaced 21 days apart, and you should apply the cream provided by the practitioner to enhance the effect.
Avoid sun exposure and UV rays before and after the treatment, as well as rubbing, shaving, and waxing the area during the peeling period.
- Before: Do not shave or wax the area in the days leading up to the treatment, and avoid sun exposure
- After: moisturizer, loose-fitting underwear, no exfoliation while the skin is peeling
